The Mission

Formed in 1987, the Elkton Progressive Improvement Committee (EPIC) is committed to improving the quality of life for the residents of Elkton, Virginia.

EPIC’s community improvement projects do this by:

  • Providing and improving public places

  • Supporting local business by creating and projecting an attractive town image

  • Promoting business by encouraging residents to buy and invest locally

  • Providing a desirable location to attract new business

  • Attracting visitors and promoting tourism to support and improve the town’s economics

How We Do It

EPIC raises funds for community projects by:

Hosting EPIC Events  |  Business Sponsorships  |  Individual Donors  |  Volunteers 

EPIC Fest Beer & Wine Festival

EPIC Fest hosts a variety of local beer, wine, food, arts & crafts vendors, along with musical artists.  This popular event is held annually on the 3rd Saturday of May.

Greater Elkton Memorial Golf Tournament

The Greater Elkton Memorial Golf Tournament is held annually in honor of a community resident.

Highway 340 Yard Sale

It's a Yard Sale that stretches from Waynesboro to Luray along route 340. Held annually on the second Saturday of September.

Autumn Days

Held annually on the third weekend in October.
